:: The History Of GrooveMaster Graphics . Like most businesses, GrooveMaster Graphics was formed out of a creative need that remained unfulfilled on the part of a budding entrepreneur. While working as a full-time software engineer through most of the 90s, GMg owner, Gary Swiontek, realized that this career path and the security of the corporate world were not in his future. After graduating from the Illinois Institute of Art, Gary pursued a career in graphic design by launching GrooveMaster Graphics in April of 2003. GMg remains dedicated to the concept of giving smaller entrepreneurs access to affordable graphic design to compete successfully among larger-budget companies. As a result of this vision, GMg clients continue to get noticed within the same marketplaces targeted by today’s major companies. GMg believes that success is not linked to the size of a business, but more so to how distinctive is its brand, how memorable is its message and how positive is its first impression. Today, GrooveMaster Graphics continues to work side by side with these mid-sized companies of every industry helping them chart their success one promotional concept at a time. GrooveMaster Graphics serves the greater Chicago IL area and beyond, including Arlington Heights IL, Mount Prospect IL, Palatine IL, Barrington IL, Buffalo Grove IL, Schaumburg IL, Glenview IL, Prospect Heights IL.
:: Biography, Gary Swiontek . A career in the creative arts seemed to be Gary Swiontek’s calling from the beginning. Early on Gary earned a bachelor of music degree from DePaul University and became a full-time musician playing with bands across the U.S. and Canada. In 1993, Gary’s full-time career dramatically changed.He entered the 9-to-5 world of software engineering after completing courses at both Harper College and DePaul University. All the while, however, he managed to also maintain his love of photography. He often says that when he learned the technique of making black and white prints in a darkroom, he was hooked.In 1998, it was the cutting-edge method of making prints from computer-generated negatives that turned Gary toward mastering this new technology and, ultimately, graphic design. After graduating from the Illinois Institute of Art, with a major in Digital Graphic Design, he left software engineering permanently and followed his creative calling in graphic design. Shortly thereafter in 2003, Gary founded GrooveMaster Graphics – whose name actually comes from his musician’s ability to ”lay down a groove.”
Gary is a long-time and active member of the Arlington Heights Chamber of Commerce and the Barrington Area Chamber of Commerce. And, he is the proud recipient of the AH Chamber award – 2008 Business Volunteer of the Year for his activism and leadership in the Chamber. More recently, Gary has served on the Arlington Heights Arts Commission and his photography continues to be exhibited at local venues in and around his Arlington Heights, Illinois location.

Gary Swiontek is the proud recipient of the AH Chamber award – 2008 Business Volunteer of the Year for his activism and leadership in the Chamber. The award was presented at the annual Installation Dinner on January 22nd, 2009 . Gary would like to thank his Chamber partners for the nomination and the recognition by the Board of Directors.
